Pureprint Group has been operating since 1926 as a family owned and run business. Originally known as East Sussex Press it grew earning a reputation for quality and service and acquired Beacon Press in 2004. Moving and extending all operations onto the industrial estate where the Beacon business was situated created a company that could offer a more versatile range of print and printing related services combined with the cultural commitment to sustainable printing brought into the business by Beacon. As part of the strategy to build a company based on the original principles of integrity, quality and service combined with an enthusiasm for print solutions and technological innovation all driven by the philosophy of sustainability, it was decided to rename as Pureprint Group.
Understanding that corporate responsibility plays a major role in achieving business success Pureprint understands what stakeholders expect and the impacts the business has on them whether that is: |
| • |
customers who have to be confident in our ability to deliver a product in a manner that meets their expectations |
| • |
employees who need a safe, healthy and secure environment to work in |
| • |
suppliers who wish to be treated fairly and with respect |
| • |
business partners who want a transparent and open exchange of ideas |
| • |
our bank/insurers who expect a legally compliant and profitable business |
| • |
a community who desire a quiet, clean, successful and supportive employer in their neighbourhood. |
Since 1926 the company has seen dramatic changes in the world in general and specifically in print but embracing change and delivering effective solutions is our challenge. Innovation, sustainability, integrity and quality are the principles that underpin Pureprint Group now and will guide us into the future.
