Pureprint Group has purchased a brand new 6-colour Heidelberg Speedmaster XL 105 plus coater. This will replace one of their existing Speedmasters and forms part of the group’s ongoing commitment which has seen 5 million pounds in capital investment over the past 3 years. This latest purchase will help provide their customer base with superior print quality and impressive job turnarounds.

The new press is highly specified to meet the most stringent demands in both quality and productivity. It is capable of 18,000 sheets per hour and features Image Control spectrophotometric colour control. The press wil be set up from day one to run alcohol free in line with the company’s existing presses.

Pureprint’s emphasis on environmental credentials is strongly supported by Heidelberg which publishes an annual Sustainability Report and works continually to manufacture to the most planet-sensitive ways. The XL 105 is seen as one of the most environmentally friendly presses with a reduced carbon footprint, lower waste energy-output ratios and Star ancillaries to minimise energy, paper, chemistry, ink and powder waste.

Pureprint’s significant investment demonstrates the company’s financial stability and its pledge to all-round excellence. It will help Pureprint further improve print quality while at the same time offering customers a fast and effective turn around of work.
