Our large format division in Newcastle runs 2 Inca Onset X3 presses with robotic arms which produce work up to 3.2 x 1.6 metres at high colour quality for our large format print customers. We have recently had these high tech presses fully upgraded to Onset X3 HS (high speed). This translates into quicker set up times, reliability and the highest colour quality meeting our customers’ requirements for speed to market and a quality finish
Improved job set up times from around 15 minutes to 30 seconds is giving greater flexibility and turnaround on a job when our clients have challenging time demands to produce campaigns. These presses also have extraordinary reliability, achieving 90% uptime, which, together with built-in intelligent features enable both of our Onset X3 HS to achieve optimum performance giving our customers the peace of mind and reliability they need.
Both machines are identically configured and programmed to constantly produce stunning images for indoor and outdoor graphic display more efficiently than any other process. From everyday signage to the highest quality backlit displays for demanding markets such as cosmetics and luxury consumer goods. Improved ink chemistry has been designed to enable a range of print finishes to be produced, from low-glare satin to high-impact gloss. Custom UV print settings enable precise control, providing flexibility for all types of work and achieving specialist finishes with particular materials.
As these machines are digital presses they allow for variable data printing, in which elements such as text, custom messaging and images may be changed from one printed piece to the next enabling individual store or sites to have custom content.
