Last night members of the Pureprint team attended the PrintWeek Awards 2022 at The Brewery in London. We are extremely proud to announce that we were awarded Bespoke Digital Printer of the Year for the third time.
Part of our winning submission included a retirement book and clamshell box for the University of Exeter. The judges kindly commented, “It was a complex job that demanded exacting standards and Pureprint rose to the challenge, meeting the client’s deadline and budget. It’s little wonder the client lavished praise on the ‘professionalism and helpfulness’ of Pureprint’s staff”.
We also submitted a complex prototype box for The Love Agency to hold the new vegan Kit Kat, and an eye-catching book for F37 Wyman, produced by printing white ink on dark paper.
One judge said the latter two samples had “very nice detail and construction” and offered “genuine wow factor”. Another judge applauded Pureprint for “clever innovation, creative execution and exquisite production that would excite”.
At Pureprint, we’re lucky enough to work with a host of brilliant clients and our team plays a vital role in bringing each of their creative projects to life. It’s an honour, therefore, to win an award that celebrates not only our achievements, but those of our clients too.
“Winning this award makes for a great start to 2022. As for many printers, Covid challenged our business, but the Pureprint team continued to focus on producing excellent work for our customers. It is very pleasing to see this being recognised in our winning Bespoke Digital Printer of the Year”. – Richard Osborne, Managing Director
We were also highly commended for our Book Printer of the Year submission, with judges commenting “Innovative, beautiful, excellent” and PrintWeek adding, “the judges ran out of effusive words to describe Pureprint’s work”.
We’d like to congratulate and thank everyone who has contributed towards the success of these awards.
