Mr Doodle is a local artist to Pureprint HQ and has collaborated with well-known brands including Fendi, Converse and Puma. He’s known for his iconic black and white doodles and has recently hit news headlines after doodling his entire house, which took him two years to complete!
We recently created bespoke boxes to house Mr Doodle’s latest print, ‘Doodle Hug’. With only 300 of the limited-edition screen prints available, each was individually signed, and hand numbered by the artist.
Our packaging engineers worked collaboratively with the Mr Doodle team to develop a collector’s piece which would house one screen print and a certificate of authentication. The screen print was printed by Harvey Lloyd Screens, before being sent to us to complete fulfilment and dispatch.
The finished box was wrapped in Wibalin Natural White DFC, and the outer was debossed, and foil blocked in gloss black and gloss white to create a point of interest and finished with two simple black ribbon lifters.
Colorplan Ebony Smooth 270gsm was the paper of choice to print the certificate of authentication and sleeve, before both were foil blocked with gloss black foil to finish. The certificate was printed using white ink and embellished with holographic foil.
Finally, we packaged the finished boxes in custom wooden crates, made by Benchmark Cases.
