Pureprint Group announces installation of its second HP Indigo 100K digital press that significantly increases capacity

London, UK, 13 October 2021 – Print and Marketing Services company, Pureprint Group, is the first UK printer to have installed two HP Indigo 100K digital presses, the world’s most productive B2 digital solution. Both of the 100K presses will further enhance Purprint’s digital printing capabilities, sitting alongside the existing two HP Indigo 12,000 and two HP Indigo 7,900 presses, making Pureprint’s HP Indigo capacity one of the largest across the UK and Europe.

The installation of the second HP Indigo 100K this month, significantly increases volume capabilities and ensures that Pureprint can always deliver against their customers’ requirements. New market opportunities in gifting and personalisation have seen growth in demand for new product lines which require vibrant colour and a range of substrates. To remain aligned with these fast-moving industry trends, Pureprint Group needed an additional high-quality press that would help them deliver against increased demand, which has already exceeded 2019 levels.
Pureprint CEO, Mark Handford, commented: “We have always been at the forefront of technology and innovation. With the performance of our first HP Indigo 100K we installed in October 2020, making the decision to bring in a second machine, a UK first, was an easy one. It’s high production output will considerably increase our digital print capacity and it’s high quality of print supports both our commercial and online digital print platforms perfectly.”

Driving productivity efficiencies, enables them to turnaround work faster and at a higher quality whilst also reducing waste and the impact on the environment. These enhanced capabilities reinforce Pureprint’s reputation as the go to supplier for quality and environmentally sensitive print solutions, enabling them to stay ahead of the market and in turn, giving their customers a competitive advantage.

Reducing environmental impact is imperative to the business. In 2002, Pureprint became the first CarbonNeutral® printing business in the world, developed the highly acclaimed Pureprint® environmental printing system and is also ISO 14001 accredited. All HP Indigo press manufacturing is carbon offset, which is the equivalent to a reduction of 25,500 cars per year, allowing Pureprint Group to maintain its focus on sustainability, whilst fulfilling growing demand quickly and efficiently.

Furthermore, the increase in productivity due to the second HP Indigo 100K being installed also means that Pureprint Group can continue to reduce waste and subsequently reduce its environmental impact.
