At this year’s VM & Display Show, we set out to show something simple.
What modern retail campaigns actually look like when they’re done properly.
Not just print. Not just creative. Not just production.

One idea. Built for every touchpoint.
We designed and built a gallery-style stand, The Art of Retail, to bring that idea to life.
The concept was straightforward. Take a single campaign idea, and show how it moves across every channel a retailer needs to think about today.
From big, high-impact brand moments through to the details that land in customers’ hands.
From concept to campaign
Our creative team, The Impurium, developed two full campaign shoots:
- Fashion retail
- Outdoor retail
With dedicated shoots in the UK and Iceland, capturing products, environments, and people in a way that feels real, not staged.
From there, we built out complete campaign ecosystems for each.
Not mock-ups. Fully realised assets.
- Video and TV content
- Window displays
- Lightboxes
- POS and FSDUs
- Influencer and gifting boxes
The goal wasn’t to show individual pieces.
It was to show how everything connects.
Designed to flow, not sit in silos
Retail campaigns don’t live in one place anymore.
They move.
From screen, to store, to social, to physical product.
So we used the stand to map that journey.
Visitors could walk through the campaign as it evolved, seeing how a single idea translates across formats, materials, and environments.
Consistent. Joined up. Built to scale.
Bringing print into the experience
Of course, print still plays a critical role. But it works best when it’s part of something bigger.
We printed everything on the stand, from the floor, to signage and we closed the experience with a ‘gift shop’ style exit, giving visitors something tangible to take away.

Simple pieces, executed properly. A reminder that physical still matters, when it’s done right.
The bigger picture
This wasn’t just a stand.
